1. Vitus Mythique 27 VR Bike
Vitus Cycles is an established brand that has fallen on hard times. Chain Reactions acquired the company with only one goal in mind: to revive the brand, and produce affordable bikes for cyclists.
Vitus has affordable bikes, and this is one of the cheapest full suspension mountain bike I’ve found.
Mythique features a sleek design that is modern and attractive to the eye and ego. The ergonomic geometry makes it easy for athletes, just like those who use rigs and wear the same piece of clothing.
The full suspension bike comes with a light alloy frame and 130 mm of travel. The 10-speed bike has an X Fusion for the front forks, but you can upgrade to a 2×10 crankset if you wish to do so.
This is a mountain bike for someone who enjoys testing their limits, whether it be rolling on rocks, roots, or finding a way where there’s none. It doesn’t excel as a climber, but performs fairly well on descents.
This bike is great for fun riding at a bike park down the trail, but it’s not as heavy as bikes you break into the vault to buy.
2. Marin Rift Zone 27.5 1
The Marin’s Rift Zone 1 is a full mountain bike, for an affordable price range. Its features are better than most entry-level mountain bikes on the market. Their 27.5 Basic mountain bike has all of the qualities riders want in a bike from Mountain Bikes Direct.
With a $2,000 budget, the Yeti Roost is a light and well-made bike. The high-quality aluminum frame makes it an ideal mountain bike that offers a slack geometry.
The Rift Zone is a 1x chainring bike with a Shimano Deore Drivetrain and a Shimano BR-MT201 hydraulic disc brake, powerful enough to stop the bike on its tracks.
The Rift Zone 1 is a well-designed and affordable bike that will get you to places and make trail riding exciting. This is the perfect bike for people just starting in this activity or who love the outdoors. In addition, you’ll use less money to enjoy your favorite sport.
3. Ghost Kato FS Base
The Ghost Kato range of e-bikes are some of the most cost-effective available. For example, the FS Base model is one of the most affordable, lasting 12 hours on a charge.
The frame is made of rugged, light aluminum and paired with the Suntour XCR and SR Suntour Radions, giving 130mm of travel.
SRAM SX Eagle are paired with Quick Release and easy-to-use Shimano hydraulic disc brakes for a bike at such an affordable price.
Ghost is using their 27.5” wheels here that are equipped with 2.25” WTB Ranger tires. The bike is going to be very agile and grippy, thanks to an adjustable dropper post for those sketchy descents.
